The cost for the additional cover is £8.00 Per Day

The additional cover can be added while booking your hire vehicle or at the rental location.

If you are going on a trip and want to take your bicycle with you then you can add the bike rack option.

If you choose this option, you'll start your journey with a full tank which the price per litre is determined by the national average. When you return the vehicle, there is no need to fill up, just return it with an empty tank and that will be the end.

No Need to worry if you don't know the route, you can add a Navigation GPS device to your hire which will direct you to your destination.

We have Navigation GPS devices in all our branches and mainly use Tom Tom.

You can add a Navigation GPS device when you are booking your hire vehicle, this will be under the additional extras section.

Share your driving time

When you hire a vehicle from Ideal Car Hire the main driver is insured however if you require an additional driver to drive the vehicle there will be an additional driver charge.

Additional Driver Charge £8 per day including VAT

Young Driver Charge £12 per day including VAT Aged between 21-25

Protecting your young ones is essential.

By law any child under the age of 12 in The UK or under 135cms in height must use an appropriate child seat.

Child seats can be booked as an extra product while booking your car hire. The rates are detailed below.

Baby Seat - 0-13kg (Birth to 9-12 months)
Infant Seat - 9 to 19 kg (from 9 months to 4 years old)
Child Seat - 15 to 36 kg (from 4 months to 11 years old)
Booster Seat - 15 to 36 kg (from 4 months to 11 years)

The child seat will need to be fitted by the hirer, however if assistance is required a the member of staff can assist.
